Because 5 cents just isn’t enough…

1.1 Billion People worldwide do not have access to safe drinking water. Each day 4500 children die, while millions swim in pools of apathetic indifference. Many endeavors are springing up worldwide to battle this issue, including Ethos Water, a Starbucks endeavor to support clean water projects around the world by contributing 5 cents of every $1.80 sale. This is the greatest worldwide health crisis of our time. Let’s face it, 5 cents just isn’t enough.

Pathos water is a humanitarian effort that also attacks corporate greed and environmental neglect. Pathos offers premium artesian water in biodegradable bottles while donating 100% of all profits to clean water efforts. With your help, our efforts will save many lives.

If Starbucks reaches its goal and sells 200 million bottles in 5 years, it will donate 10 million but pocket at least 50 million. If we sell the same amount, we will donate at least 60 million and pocket nothing. The math really is as simple as that.

Why Biodegradable?

Many people ask us why we’re using biodegradable when people can simply recycle. Let us break it down simply. First, most people just don’t recycle. They drink their water and they toss their bottle in the garbage. Second, environmentalists have hated bottled water from the get go – as the amount of natural resources consumed in the production of standard bottled water are ridiculous and the environmental impact huge. Our bottles are made from soy, from the earth they come and to the earth they return.

But is the water any good?

Pathos Water is world class artesian water. It is, in short, the ideal bottled water (American Journal of Medicine Standards), with a neutral PH, a perfect balance of minerals, and no aftertaste. The average life expectancy at the source is an unusual 8.6 yrs longer than the national average. Coincidence? We think not.
