SA Foundation
The SA Foundation is an organization working out of Nepal that provides love, shelter, and new opportunity for young women between the ages of 16-29. These are women that have been, or are at risk, of becoming sexually exploited and/or trafficked. The heart of the SA Foundation is to share freedom and love with those that have experienced the opposite; slavery and worthlessness.
Goodsociety Commitment: To provide 12 months of financial support for all operating costs (food, housing, and training costs) of a transitional home in Nepal.
Project Summary: The transitional housing program is a crucial step towards creating independence for survivors of sexual exploitation. This recovery program is crucial for these young women as they often left home or were sold into sexual slavery at a very young age, thus not learning the life skills they will need to live independently.
“We are completely in love with the SA Foundation and what they are about. From
spending time with them in Canada and onsite with their work in Nepal, it is obvious
that they embrace and love those that have only known hurt and pain. This is an
amazing work to be involved with!” –Ryan, Goodsociety’s Main Good Guy
