Dalit Freedom Network

In India there are 250 million Dalit people (also known as the “Untouchables”), that are oppressed and denied many basic rights. DFN is committed to freeing the Dalits from a life of poverty, exploitation and slavery through quality English education, healthcare and economic development.

From building schools, they have built a hundred of them since 2003, to providing micro-loans, DFN takes a hands-on and practical approach to freeing these amazing people and giving them hope for a better future.

Goodsociety has partnered with DFN on multiple fundraising events and continues to look for ways to work with DFN whenever possible. “DFN is an incredible group of people that live a lifestyle of passion and sacrifice for the greater good. We feel fortunate to work with an organization like this that is having such a huge impact on the world for good.”
